π Is Mount And Blade 2 Worth It
Just upgraded my PC and starting to look into mount and blade series again. For a long time I was a Warband player using all kinds of mods (but especially Diplomacy Reloaded mod) Bannerlord catches my eye, especially since it's been a long developing myth until it's actually released years back.
In each new game of Mount & Blade 2 the workshops in each town are randomly generated, but the products made in each village are not. Between two and eight villages correspond to each town, and
There is a total of 11 types of workshops in Bannerlord and they are: Brewery β produces beer and needs grain. Wine Press β produces wine and needs grapes. Olive Press β produces oil and needs olives. Linen weavery β produces clothing and needs flax. Velvet weavery β produces velvet clothing and needs cotton.
Start with Warband, it's better in pretty much every way. It's less of a sequel, more of an expandalone. Less bugs, better looking everything, new faction, and multiplayer. The original is worth playing, but mostly for classic mods that weren't ported to Warband. elektrisko.
i used to ransom them early game for wages, but as the bugs and imbalances start showing, they later become annoying glorified bandits waging wars 2 minutes after buying peace. beheading them slows that annoying part a little.

In warband everyone was immediately pissed for having a female character and it was a lot more immersive and challenging. In bannerlord though nobody's said anything and 50% of AI lords are female. I loved playing female characters in warband because of it but it'll be disappointing if it doesn't have much, if any, impact here. Archived post.
The battle sequences with just a few soldiers working the woods, to loads of knights on a battlefield, is the most impressive part of the game and even though the quests arenβt as satisfying
r/mountandblade is incredibly active and I see the occasional warband post there as well as bannerlord. Give them a follow as well. And yes, warband is super janky but lots of fun and it has a great management aspect, which seems like it will appeal to you.
Here is a step by step guide to how to create a weapon: Choose your weapon type by clicking the top of the menu. This by default says "One Handed Sword". Click the top of the four icons to the left (it's the bit with the dice underneath it) to show the full selection for that weapon part.
